EISTI: an active member of the n+i program

Foreign students holding a Bachelor degree or equivalent in engineering are eligible to apply for the "n+i" program to study during 2 academic years in the EISTI engineering program corresponding to the 4th and 5th years of higher education to obtain the “diplôme d’ingénieur” which is a Master’s degree.

After their packages of integration, especially adapted for them, the "n+I" students follow normal courses with their French fellow students during the last 3 semesters of the French engineering degree program (4th and 5th year in higher education).

A two-year program leading to the Official Master Degree (French national diplôme d'ingénieur).

3 packages organized by n+i before studying at EISTI

1/ Package for cultural integration (PIC) managed by “n+i” Network is a full assistance during all your studies in France and includes the welcome package.

2/ Package for linguistic integration (PIL) (Intensive course in French) managed by « n+i » Network, enables beginners in French language, or not, to get up to speed before the start of the program.
This summer course is organized from mid-July up to mid-September in professional organization. EISTI send their n+i students to Cavilam Vichy.

3/ Package for methodological integration (PIM)
This methodological integration lasts from September to December.
This is a period of cultural and language adjustment which allows students to gain confidence in French, science, and technology.
Students also learn about French teaching methods. This semester is included in the curriculum (30 credits of the 120) and so there is no extra time.
International students study engineering during this period but not yet with French students. Seminar-size courses are taught in French but at a pace suitable for non-French speakers.
Students may ask questions in English, get answers in English, and use documents in English or their own language.
During this semester, students get personal help from their tutors: advice and guidance, assistance with housing, and help with administrative procedures and regulatory requirements (registration, bank accounts, visas, residency permits, and so on).
