Corporate Partners

Our conception of partnership is very open: EISTI facilitates contact between companies and students as much as possible. The PÔLE E-MÉC@ networking convention in October initiates contact between students and companies.

If you are interested in participating, please click on the link below to register. http://www.polee-meca.fr/v2/accueil

Our business partners offer to instruct courses in their respective specialization, to hold conferences on different aspects of the career of an engineer, internships etc… Technical partnerships are established when companies propose subjects for End of Studies Projects (PFE), internships and job offers which are immediately passed on to our network of alumni.

International Corporate Partners

Within the framework of the annual International Week held in November, a special half-day session dedicated to international businesses is organized.

This convention allows students to discover international internships and job offers with our corporate partners.

It also offers the possibility for companies to organise, in collaboration with International Relations, various recruitment workshops in English.

EISTI’s Corporate Partners

INCUBATION AND INNOVATION

The creation of the Val d’Oise’s « Technologies of the Information Society Thematic Incubator » was initiated by EISTI. This is an essential tool to assist in the creation of businesses in the high-tech sector. Along with the « Conseil Général » and the « Comité d'Expansion Economique du Val d'Oise » this association supports innovative projects.

It brings together Engineering Schools (EISTI, ENSEA, EPMI), Institutes of Higher Education specializing in Information Technology, Business Incubators (Roissy Airport), large companies and international organizations (EADS, European Space Agency). The incubator weaves relations with economic and institutional communities, connects with regional and national projects and attracts business projects.

Entrepreneurship Center

Some students express the desire to carry out a project that will allow them to create and develop their own business during their study period.

EISTI has at their disposal a competence centre whose goal is to council and assist the students to meet their objective.

CQFD : « Ce Qu'il Faut Démontrer » or What Needs to be Demonstrated

The competence centre’s name C.Q.F.D comes from:
  • C - Creating a business
  • Q - Qualify the business
  • F - Finance the business
  • D - Develop the business

What Needs to be Demonstrated, allows certain Eistiens to play the role of entrepreneur, not only at the departmental and national level, but also at the international level.

Guy Doriot directs this centre as on September 1st, 2008. He councils students in the field of Strategic and Operational Management, most notably on Optimisation of Sales and Production.

He is surrounded by a team proficient in communication, human resources, finance accounting and international relations. Contact: guy.doriot@eisti.fr

Example of creation in 2008:

HAMBURWARE

http://www.hamburware.com/

Internships

EISTI was one of the first School to include internships in its curriculum. We have always believed that real life experience and team work is a natural extension of what students learn in class.

Our professors and Internship services will always be able to find a Student-Engineer who corresponds to the goals of a company.

Every Student- Engineer must complete two internships during his/her studies.

1. 2nd year Engineering program
Minimum 20-week placement
Availability: June to October
Objective: Analysis and programming
Profile: Mathematics or Computer Science

2. 3rd year Engineering program
Minimum 22 week placement
Availability: April to September
Objective: End of studies placement related to the Student’s specialty
Profile: future graduate

92 % of our future engineers sign a permanent contract before obtaining their diploma while 8% pursue further studies. Many companies have signed an agreement which encourages internships with our students.
