To go abroad gave us the opportunity to practice English in a technical environment. Foreign students are welcomed in very good conditions and we were therefore able to integrate rapidly. We worked in the international technical support department and operated in all the other sectors of the company. This enabled us to have an overall picture of its day to day operations of the company and as well as the needs of the various departments. We had responsibilities, in relation to the other sectors of the company. The bursary from the “Conseil Général du Val d’Oise” enabled us to carry out this training course without financial concerns.

This was my second training course in China. I was happy to find my friends and this country that I have grown fond of. I had the opportunity to work with people from around the world. A training course abroad is a useful and almost magic experience. Everything moves very quickly. It is necessary to learn to adapt or to anticipate. This is the real learning experience.

ICELANDE • ERASMUS • University of Reykjavik • Thomas BOITARD

At the University of Reykjavik, I took courses in Finance, develop my knowledge before entering the Financial Engineering option. Teaching is excellent at the University thanks to lectures from professors with international reputations. Erasmus students had warm receptions and we were supervised throughout the six-month period. Evenings, days with topic and excursions were organized by the local students, in order to facilitate our integration and to teach us about the country. An experience worth living.

We carried out our training course in Seregno (Milan), in a company specialized in Internet sites, graphics and video creation. We took part in the development of a software package which facilitates the creation and the management of Internet sites. In addition to this, we carried out our 2nd Year Engineering Cycle training period at the University of Montreal (Canada) within the framework of Program CREPUQ. Going abroad enables us to be confronted with another way of life and to meet people from another culture. It allowed us to really understand globalization.

I chose to do a linguistic training course in order to improve my English. I also discovered Canada when I carried out my end of studies training period. I found ODESIA thanks to the International Week at EISTI. ODESIA is a company specializing in Business Intelligence, with offices in Paris.
