Welcome meeting for the EISTI’s students at OPU – Japan

As every year since 2005, a group of second year engineering students has been warmly welcomed at the Osaka Prefecture University in order to undertake their 4 month internship in a laboratory, dealing with a subject related to their specialty.

For these students who have been learning Japanese as their second modern foreign language, this is the occasion to perfect their linguistic skills in Japanese and to discover the Japanese culture.

7 students have just joined the 4 students who are already studying there: two of them are undertaking a double Master’s degree, and two are studying for a PhD.

Professor Yoshio Ikeda, who is the Dean of the Engineering Faculty, is sitting next to two of his colleagues as well as Professor Hiroshi Tsuji, the interlocutor for the International Relations office.
